The Artist

Paulina's inspiration comes from her connection with the world around her; she uses memories, experiences and feelings to capture various concepts, it is an authentic expression of the spirit. Her work opens the possibilities to multiple interpretations, as it arises from within to go towards the observer. Dynamic angles, free flows of colors and contrasts convulse. The previous decisions regarding the arrangement of tones, lines, volumes and compositions are glimpsed on the canvas.

Structures in the midst of more abstractions, forms that overlap one another, the explosive color combinations and movement in her lyrical creations call attention. The author does not work with stains or mistakes, but inserts a certain order and sequentiality into the canvas.

Black is one of her aesthetic motives, due to its intrinsic way of expressing emotions. Other shades such as neutrals, ocher, gold and silver are chosen through various materials, mainly acrylic, oil and ink to represent what the soul dictates.
